here, in high and in ultra-high resolution. In addition to
these pictures this CD also contains detailed maps, and prints of books
and reports concerning Alderney including:

A House of Lords report concerning the Harbour
and Fortifications of Alderney (from 1872, ~100 pp), and
-
A very scarce German booklet published in 1944
named "Die Insel Alderney" by Hauptmann Dr. Otto Bessenrodt, who was stationed
on the island (in the original German, with wartime pictures, and also
translated into English: 38 pp).
This DVD is available for 15 pounds sterling or
